D. Bebe Sylla

Diaraye Bebe Sylla is from Guinea, West Africa. She has served as president of American Friends of Guinea since 2006. She is fluent in six languages: French, German, English, Sousou, Mandingo and Fulani. After completing high school in Guinea, she moved to Germany where she studied business administration for three years. In 1995, she relocated to the United States and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Prairie View A&M University near Houston, Texas. She has worked as a registered nurse at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for 10 years. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
